Bateleur - Marvelous face, No tail

Bateleur Eagle (Terathopius equadatus - translated as "Marvelous face, no tail")
Bateleur is French for tightrope walker and name comes from the eagles distinctive aerial acrobatics especially during the courting and mating season
The bird's movements are so iconic that there is even a bateleur eagle dance.
It has a rapid direct flight and can spend 8 or 9 hours a day hunting for food and covering more than 300 miles.
