Osprey Dive - An Exquisite performance

The Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) is one of my favorite birds of prey. It's the only raptor that will dive underwater (as much as 3 feet deep) to hook a fish with its talons.
The can dive from a height of close to 100 feet and reach speeds of more than 50 miles when they hit the water feet first.
The Osprey's dive is a pleasure and triumph to capture on camera.
