Puffin - The Clowns of the Sea

Puffin (Fratercula arctica - translates as "little brother of the north" in Latin.)
A puffin's beak (or bill) changes color during the year. In winter, the beak has a dull grey color, but in spring it blooms with a brilliant orange and red Puffins are excellent flyers, flapping their wings up to 400 times a minute and speeding at close to 90 kmph. They can also dive down 60m under water in search of their favourite fish.
