White Pelican - The beautiful cousin
White Pelican is more beautiful than it's common cousin the Brown Pelican. The American White Pelican is a true snowbird, flying right across the continent from northwestern US and Canada to winter in Florida.
They are the largest bird in North America with a wingspan of about 9-9.5 feet.
Unlike the brown pelican, they do not dive for their food.
